Baking Dead
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Baking Dead is a first person Tower Defense game, where you need to exterminate various hostile Pests using sentient, self-defence-equipped Pastries! Use your vacuum cleaner to collect floating pink sparks to bake Pastries yourself. You can then place them down on one of the four five-lane grid fields, to fend-off the crawling Pests, DO NOT let them reach YOU.
You have 4 hallways to take care of. And who knows what other hostile creatures, besides regular Pests might live in these dark places...
The game consists of 7 short campaign levels and 2 challenging additional hard levels!

Music by Opoka
A game made for Toxic Terror GameJam
All environment textures are photos of walls and floors I took, some are even from my room!
Fonts used: dpcomic, Picopixel, and some custom made ones.
!Not-obvious game mechanic:
- Every 2 baked Pastries, the baking mini-game will require less spins to set to complete. This combo restarts after 10 seconds of not baking.
Timer scoring tip: The faster you kill appearing pests, the faster the next group of them will be sent.
The game can potentially load a bit longer than it should, just wait a little...
After the Jam is over, the game is planned to be expanded into a full-fledged game with a more open-telled story! I was mostly focused on the gameplay during the jam developing time...
